If you, like me, are a complete sucker for pineapple, then let’s get talking about this new cream-filled biscuit by Britannia called Britannia Treat Crazy Pineapple Biscuit! I love sandwich cookies and the brightly colored packet of Britannia cookies has been a favourite of mine since school days. And having major nostalgia, I keep buying things that may remind me of my childhood in some way. While we have Oreo and all the new types of sandwich biscuits so easily available now, nothing beats the old-fashioned flavoured sandwich cookie.
What’s New: Well, Britannia Treat Crazy Pineapple Biscuit has a fun shape to begin with, like a flower. Second, the biscuit shell is not your regular biscuit, but a more interesting “shell” as mentioned on the pack!
Packaging: Pretty regular, like all the biscuits. I do like the popping yellow colored pack, to pretty much drill the pineapple flavour in your head!
Review: I loved the shell. The base biscuit was definitely different from all the regular cream biscuits. In fact, it tasted much more like a tart shell. It was somewhat lower on sugar, and had a more distinct bite. The pineapple cream is quite basic, just like what you would find in any other pineapple cream cookie, nothing to write home about.
